A weekend in the mountains

Last week, I (Maria-Magdalena Dressel) spent a wonderful weekend in Tyrol and Bavaria, at the invitation of the Tourist Office. There was certainly plenty to discover on the way from Innsbruck via Kitzbühel and from Ettal to Munich. I drove many hundreds of kilometres to discover the very best places in the region.
Special highlights of the tour: networking at the Bergisel ski-jump tower, overlooking the whole of Innsbruck; Hohe Salve sports resort, which focuses on a healthy mix of meetings, sport and recreation; the A-Rosa resort in Kitzbühel with the adjoining golf course, and Ettal Abbey with its own distillery, brewery and dairy, which are all still run on-site by the monks!

It's not a long way to travel – the journey from Munich Airport to Kitzbühel takes less than two hours, while Ettal takes only slightly more than an hour.

The best news is that regardless of whether it's summer or winter, the Alps have a lot more to offer than just hiking or skiing!

I look forward to hearing from you!
