Since February 29th 2020, the largest Monet exhibition ever held in Germany is on display in Potsdam. The main focus is on the places where the painter worked. Among the highlights of the exhibition are numerous paintings of Monet's garden and pond in Giverny, including several of his world-famous water lily paintings. The loans come from numerous top museums around the world and are complemented by many masterpieces from international private collections, which are otherwise not accessible to the public; this includes several loans from the collection of Hasso Plattner, founder and patron of the Barberini Museum.
This impressive exhibition is on display until 1 June 2020.
