Servus Munich!

i‑contravel was pleased to receive an invitation from the H-Hotel group to take part in a Famtrip to Munich. Our Product Manager for the GSU countries, Elena Kravetskaya, was pleased to participate at this event.

The group stayed at the newly opened 4-star Hyperion Hotel Munich, only 4km east of Munich city centre. The Hyperion Hotel München has 341 elegant double rooms which are offering every comfort for a pleasant stay. A restaurant with an open cooking area, allows you to watch your ordered dishes being prepared and a fully equipped conference area of around 700m² spread over six function rooms offers ample space for 290 people.

A warm welcome and a tour through the hotel was followed by a nicely presented, tasty dinner.

Saturday morning after an enjoyable breakfast, the group was transferred to the Munich fair grounds for a hotel inspection of the H4 and brand-new H2 Hotels, which are both conveniently located next to the Munich Messe.

The tour continued after these two hotels and included a visit to the Eisbach Studios – primarily studios for professional film and television recordings, as well as elaborate photo productions. As extraordinary locations the studios are often booked for exclusive events and event productions.

6 combinable studios offer ground floor areas creating excellent conditions for diverse event projects.

At noon the group started their tour through the old city centre of Munich including the famous Marienplatz - Munich's urban heart and the central point of the pedestrian zone, the Odeonsplatz where one will live and experience "la dolce vita", a church constructed in the Italian late baroque style, a loggia of the Florentine model and a lot of hustle and bustle, as well as naturally the World-famous Hofbräuhaus. At the Viktualienmarkt or “victuals market” the group was invited to tasty Bavarian “brezeln” and Anti-Pasti.

The evening program was filled with a visit to the GOP Varieté-Theater. This Varieté’s show was filled with breathtaking artistry, packed in different stories frame and was a real highlight for the group and a fantastic end of this Famtrip to Munich.

Many thanks to the lovely team from H-Hotels Munich, especially to Andreas Stefan Müller, for this great and informative trip!
