Europe's biggest Football Night - A proud moment for i‑contravel

While the eyes of the world focused on Berlin with hundreds of millions of fans watching the final of the 2015 UEFA Champions League, the most important day of European football in 2015 was also "showtime" for our team at i‑contravel.

On June 6, Europe's best two teams - FC Barcelona and Juventus Turin - played for the world's most important trophy in football club sports at Berlin's legendary Olympic Stadium in front of a sellout crowd of 70,000.

Shortly after both clubs had made it to the final - valued partners of I‑contravel signed a contract to organize transportation logistics for about 6000 fans from both Berlin airports to the stadium. Thanks to our close partnership with several bus operators we booked approx. 140 buses.

We had less than three weeks time to plan all the transfer logistics to meet arriving and departing charter flights and training our team.

After a long 20-hour day while last buses leaving the Olympic stadium heading towards the airport in Schönefeld, our team members took a deep breath and reflected on our accomplishment. Our big day ran as smooth as planned while we were always prepared to expect the unexpected. With all our experience to manage logistics of large events, the first day "back to normal" is always special.

You probably know that "Barca" won the final by beating "Juve" 3-1 and winning Europe's club championship for the 5th time. Congratulations!
